Honors Program & Scholarship Details

The Honors Program recognizes students for academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others. 

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrating academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Scholarship essay response.
  • Have received no grade below a B on report cards submitted by their grade school
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process
  • Minimum score of 85% on the HSPT

New Seton Merit Scholarships

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrating academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Scholarship essay response
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process
  • Minimum score of 80% on the HSPT

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrating academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Scholarship essay response
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process
  • Minimum score of 80% on the HSPT

31 Women Scholarship

  • Demonstrating good academic standing, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through Scholarship essay response
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process

Alumnae Super Saint Scholarship

Seton is proud to announce a NEW scholarship funded through our amazing Alumnae!

One year Scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen ’21, sophomores ’20, juniors ’19 & seniors ’18 

Candidate will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrating school spirit, leadership and service to others as evident through Scholarship essay response
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process (Class of 2021)

Mark Neumann, SC Seton Sisterhood Scholarship

Seton is thrilled to announce a NEW scholarship to honor the legacy of former Principal S. Mark Neumann and recognize the spirit of Seton students!

One year scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen ‘21, sophomores ‘20, juniors ‘19 and seniors ‘18.  This scholarship recognizes students who exemplify the true meaning of the Seton Sisterhood.  The recipients are true supporters of Seton, show their school spirit with pride and encourage their housemates and classmates to do the same.

Criteria:

  • Involvement in school organizations, clubs and or sports
  • Actively attends school or House events, supporting her Seton sisters
  • Students working to their ability academically, maintaining no lower than a C average
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (Seton will verify the eligibility of each candidate via student FACTS accounts.)
  • Completed the Seton Application/Admission Process (Class of 2021)

Current Seton freshmen, sophomores and juniors can be nominated for this scholarship by:

  • Fellow students
  • Seton Employees - Academic Advisors, Teachers, House Deans, Coaches or Staff Members

       Current 8th grade students:

  • Grade School teachers and principals

Spirit of Seton Scholarship

Seton is thrilled to announce a NEW scholarship to honor spirited students!

A one year scholarship will be awarded to a current spirited sophomore who exhibits qualities of kindness and impacts others in a positive way.  The recipient will be announced at an all-school assembly at Seton High School.  Students can be nominated by classmates, teachers, staff, faculty or coaches. 

Criteria:

  • Exhibits qualities of kindness and is a positive influence
  • Involvement in school organizations, clubs and or sports
  • Actively attends school or House events, supporting her Seton sisters
  • Students working to their ability academically
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (Seton will verify the eligibility of each candidate via student FACTS accounts.)

Scholarship Essay Requirements:

Each student applying for Scholarships to Seton High School is required to write an essay no more than 1 page 11pt Times New Roman font answering these questions: 

What does Christian leadership mean to you?

How have you demonstrated Christian leadership in your own life?

All students who complete the admissions process by submitting an application, essay, grade school records and HSPT scores will be considered for Seton Scholarships.
