Social Studies

In The Classroom

Students apply historical knowledge to contemporary issues in all aspects of the social sciences through research, information processing, and investigation. Students routinely engage in critical thinking, reading, and collaboration as they learn the values of good citizenship, democracy, and the ability to make sound and rational decisions in a diverse and changing world.

To fulfill diploma requirements, 3 units of credit must be accumulated. Please see our Curriculum Guide for course descriptions.
